Arrive in Manali and check in to your accommodation. This is a chilled-out day with heaps of free time to play, explore & spend the evening at a café of your choice based on the vibe & your mood on The Tripver™ Old Manali Cafe Crawl. If you’re in the self exploration spirit, you may even head to the hot spring at Vashishtha, chill by Beas river or Paraglide at Solang or in case you have forgotten something, you can check out the mall road and stock up for the journey ahead on your own accord as well. Early/Packed breakfast, and a quick stopover at Rohtang Pass (13,000ft approx) followed by a long yet scenic drive. In this part of your journey, just when you think the view along the road can’t get better, the shape-shifting horizon will prove you wrong. Take a lunch break at Batal before arriving at Kunzum Pass (15,000ft approx) and further cross Losar before arriving at your humble abode in Kaza(12,000ft approx) and rejoice your arrival by chilling by the bonfire & treat yourself to a hot & appetizing dinner, then dive into your cozy beds for a well-deserved rest.

By now you know, this is not a lazy trip, so wake up early to grab a satisfying breakfast and get started to make the most of the day ahead. We begin with a visit to Hikkim where you can Mail postcards to loved ones from the world’s highest post office. Right after Hikkim, make sure to be present for your Group Insta moment at the iconic signboard “Komic (15,000ft approx) Highest Village In World Connected With Motorable Road”. Follow it up with a visit to the Buddha Statue at Langza, which to most feels like a truly heavenly landscape, as if you’re in the valley of the Gods. Also if you look around keenly & you’re lucky, you might just find yourself a fossil or two. You can head back to Kaza after diving into a quick tea/maggie break, maybe if you still have time at hand take a stroll in the market or rest before it’s time for a tasteful dinner.

Bid adieu post early morning breakfast to Kaza and your hosts. We begin with a visit to Key Monastery, the biggest monastery of Spiti Valley, and a religious training center for Lamas. We will then proceed towards the Insta story point of the day i.e. the scenic Chicham Bridge. Arrive just in time for lunch at Losar, last place where there is any signal reception for 24hrs. The scenic yet tricky roads leading to Chandratal Lake will prove your driver’s skills. This stretch is indeed the journey’s most adventurous and leads to the most beautiful part of the journey, i.e. to Chandratal Lake. En-route to the lake, drive right across your campsite, all the way to the end of the road, and then take a short hike to the serene crescent-shaped Chandratal lake😍 Upon return to the campsite, catch up over board games or stories under a studded sky before hitting the sack.

Wake up and have a hearty breakfast meal, and bid adieu to your campsite. Start your return journey and hit the bumpy road once again starting from Batal all through Gramphu until Khoksar. Cross the all new Atal Tunnel before arriving back to civilization and heading straight to your overnight Volvo to Delhi. While on the bus share and upload (#Tripver & @Tripver) to show the friends that couldn’t make it, what they missed out on.
