Day 1 : Journey Begins

With good vibes and beauty to boot, we’ll start our Spiti Road Trip from Delhi, Hop in to comfortable AC Volvo after office hours (between 9 & 11 PM) and stop en-route for Dinner. Meet co travelers, say hi and socialise during the overnight chilled out journey.

Day 2 : Mountains & Mist

Arrive in Shimla early morning, and move to the Force Traveler waiting for you. shortly after, take a morning chai & breakfast break. This is a chilled-outšŸ˜‡ day and you can expect to check into your Narkanda(9,000ft approx) hotel by 12:00hrs. Depending on what your adrenaline levels are like, head to Hatu peak(11,000ft approx) post power nap & lunch for a panoramic sunset view in the backdrop of Himalyas or just take it easy #metime to rejuvenate on the first day of your Parikrama. Make sure to be back by 7pm to attend our acclimatization & safe travel knowledge session by experts.

Day 3 : Ascend Starts

After early/packed breakfast we head towards Chitkul. In this part of your journey, just when you think the view along the road can’t get better šŸ˜‡, the shape shifting horizon will prove you wrong. Take a lunch break close to Rampur and further cross Sangla Valley before arriving at your humble abode in Chitkul(11,320ft approx) and rejoice your arrival by treating yourself to a hot & appetizing dinner, then dive into your beds for a well deserved rest.

Day 4 : A Day On The Road

Wake up to a hearty breakfast at Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. Motorable road ends here, hence a Instaworthy picture with your new & old travel buddies is a must. Enroute, take a quick photostop at one of ample jaw dropping scenic viewpoint’s, before arriving at Reckong Peo for Lunch. Since it’s all about the journey and not the destination, we won’t miss out any photo opportunities and stop over in Kalpa at the famous Suicide Point. We cross Pooh and reach Nako in the evening. Laze around or feel free to take a stroll in the quaint village before eventually hitting the sack.

Day 5 : Just Can't Get Enough

Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast, and cross the Nako Lake & Monestary to trek upto the Nako Prayer wheel for a stunning panaroma of the mountainscape. Bid adieu to your hosts and begin the ride to Gue a small village 9kms off the Tibetan border to see from your naked eyes the 500-year-old mummified remains of the buddhist monk, Sangha Tenzin, whose remains have been preserved since 1975. Leave from Gue to stop over for lunch at Tabo and witness yet another magnificient specimen- The Tabo Monestary (10,010 ft) founded by the buddhist king (and royal lama) Yeshe O’d in 996 A.D. Before arriving at Kaza, visit the cliff top Dhankar Gompa. We’ll welcome you in Kaza with a wholesome dinner and a bonfire to keep yourself cozy & merry at night while stargazing.

Day 6 : Kaza Action Packed

By now you know, this is not a lazy trip, so wake up early to grab a satisfying breakfast and get started to make the most of the day ahead. We begin with a visit to Key Monestary, the biggest monastery of Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for Lamas. Follow it up with a visit to Langza (14,500ft approx) and truly experience a heavenly feeling. Mail postcards to loved ones from Hikkim, the world’s highest post office before diving into a maggie break/packed lunch post which we do a mandatory quick Group Insta moment at Kibber, the World’s highest village to return straight for a tasteful dinner.

Day 7 : Journey to the Moon Lake

Bid adieu post early morning breakfast to Kaza and your hosts. The scenic yet off beat ride alongside Spiti river and tricky roads leading to Chandratal will prove your driver’s skills. This stretch is indeed the journey’s most adventurous , and leads to the most beautiful part of the journey, i.e. to Chandratal. Arrive just in time for lunch at the campsite , drop your bags, and depending on the road condition ahead of the camps, drive or take a short hike to the serene crescent shaped Chandratal lakešŸ˜ Upon return to campsite, catch up over board games or stories under the a studded sky.

Day 8 : Crossing the Passes

Wake up and have a hearty breakfast meal, cross the famous Kunzum Pass(15,000ft approx) and take the bumpy road through Gramphu and take a quick lunch break close to Rothang Pass (13,000ft approx) . Optionally (additional cost) you may choose to stay an additional night in Manali, else by evening Volvo buses will be ready to take you across to Delhi comfortably. Arrive at Delhi early next morning, nothing will ever be the same anymore after this life changing experience. Miss this trip forever !
