Today you begin your Meghalaya exploration after a satiating Breakfast. Hop on your ride that will take you to the multi-tiered Elephant Waterfalls in Upper Shillong. A drive down a winding road and through tiny lanes of Meghalaya will take you to the Mawphlang Sacred Grove and with a guided tour get a glimpse of the Khasi culture. Take a lunch break back in the city and spend your day shopping in the markets of Shillong.

Today we wake you up early as we drive across to Cherrapunji, locally known as Sohra. So many #InstaPerfect settings today ! We guarantee your feed will be the talk of the town back home. Take a stop for the panoramic view of the Mawkdok Dympep Valley. Spend your day adoring the majestic waterfalls of Meghalaya: Lyngksiar falls, Dainthlen falls, Nohkalikai falls (the tallest plunge waterfall in India), Seven Sister Waterfall. Take a short hike to Wei Sawdong and stroll inside the Mawsmai Caves. Grab lunch on the way and by evening check-in to your accommodation and relax. Have a delectable dinner and have a good nights sleep.

Post early breakfast, start your journey to the Tyrna village in Cherrapunjee which acts as the base point for the double decker root bridge trek. Count the steps as you walk down the 3000 steps. Take a pit stop at the the longest known living root bridge- Ritymmen Root Bridge. Start your journey to the double decker root bridge. Take #instaworthy photos at the resplendent bridge, The Umshiang double decker bridge. Depending on your energy levels and weather conditions, visit the Rainbow waterfalls. Later in the evening arrive at your humble abode in Cherrapunji and rejoice at your arrival by treating yourself to a hot & appetizing dinner, then dive into your cozy beds for a well-deserved rest.

A trip to Meghalaya can not be complete without visiting Asia’s Cleanest Village, Mawlynnong and the living root bridge in Riwai. Explore the village and head towards Dawki for a boat ride on the crystal clear waters of the enchanting Umngot river. The friendly border at India- Bangladesh checkpost is worth the visit and by late noon we start our journey back to Shillong, watch the sunset on the through the window. Have a hearty dinner and dive into your beds to catch up on sleep.

You deserve a lazy morning today after the amazing exploration, start your day with a perfect meal. Mornings are for‘me-time’ or you can set out for a shillong local tour and go about this day in the city that has everything to offer. Visit Wards lake, Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Culture or Cathedral of Mary Help of Christian or try the local Khasi cuisine at Trattoria. By 2 PM after lunch, we start our journey towards Guwahati.
