ALIBAUG

With high spirits & energy we departure early in the morning to Alibaug (145 Km from Mumbai & 148 Km from Pune).😋On arrival visit to old military fortification, Kulaba Fort.  We then head to a quick casual beach hopping from Aksa to Nagaon to Sasawane to Varsoli to Kihim beach. Beach. We end the day star gazing at the Alibagh beach.

After a nice warm peaceful sleep, we gear up for breakfast and the awesome day ahead. We head toward shores of the Arabian Sea, one of the most beautiful stretches in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Sandwiched between two rocky hillocks is the white sand Kashid Beach fringed by casuarinas trees and backdropped by mountains, paddy fields and rivulets, is the special charm of this coastal strip. Today we go back in time & Jetty down to what is known as the strongest standing fort Janjira fort situated on an island just off the coastal village of Murud.There are many canons of native and European make rusting on the bastions. After exploring this marvel of Nizamshahi dynasty we head back with bucket loads of memories, new friendships and wonderful experiences.
