If you have all the documents in order, European countries has a very straightforward visa process that actually seems complicated, made worse by the tonnes of conflicting information available online.
This guide is designed for the single entry & multiple tourist visa, this is the most common type of visa and is applicable if you are visiting Hungary and other countries in Europe for tourism and leisure purpose on a holiday. This guide is updated as of April 1st 2018
Step 1
PREPARE DOCUMENTS
For the Schengen visa make sure the following documents are ready :
Travel Document (Passport) : Valid passport must not be older than 10 years also it must be valid for at least THREE MONTHS longer than the intended stay. The passport must also have at least TWO BLANK PAGES to affix the visa and should be along with all old passport booklets. The passport must be Machine Readable Passport (Not handwritten) and should NOT have any observation on it.
Visa Form ( Signatures of the applicant in Visa Form should match with that on passport, as VFS / Embassy is very strict in tallying Signatures. In case of Signatures Mismatch, Visa Application shall be returned).
One Blank Signed Form (signed by the applicant)
Three Photos , as per Schengen specifications.
Covering Letter (addressed to Embassy of Hungary) preferably on Company Letterhead.
Occupation Proof :
for Salaried Professional – Original Salary Slip (min 3 Months)
for Self Employed – Proprietorship proof.
Credit Card Copy with Statement or Travel Card in Euros or Exchange Copy.
Return Confirmed Ticket / Tripver Reservation Document.
Travel Insurance as per Schengen specification, matching with ticket dates with risk coverage of Euro 30,000.
Proof of Accommodation / Tripver Reservation Document.
Original, personal Bank statement (min. 3 months) with Bank Seal and Signature of the Authorised Signatory.
Original Personal I.T papers (min. 2 years)
Step 2
SUBMIT DOCUMENTS & APPOINTMENT
Once all your documents are prepared you can submit them to the Tripver Approved Visa Agent at their offices located in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore or Kolkatta. Upon processing your documentation you would be required to visit the designated Visa offices physically on a time prescribed by the authorities to process bio-metric information (fingerprints).
Step 3
PASSPORT COLLECTION
Your are sorted once you have completed everything in step 1 & 2 like a boss. Finally you just have to collect your passport or optionally for an additional fee you may even get it delivered to your address. Now buddy you are all set to explore Europe !
