THAILAND TRIP ITINERARY HACKS:
DAY 1: JOURNEY BEGINS & THAI LIFE !
First, let’s get the pronunciation right. The ‘h’ in Phuket is silent. 🙂 And then remember that this is the largest Thai island. Phuket offers such a rich variety of experiences – beach-bumming, culture, diving, fabulous food – that visitors are spoilt for choice.
VISA ON ARRIVAL: In case you are opting for VISA on arrival, please note that on reaching Phuket Airport, Visa on arrival is provided at designated international checkpoints and applicants should submit the application form duly filled out with other guidelines as per the embassy. The Emabssy guidlines for the VISA on arrvial can be viewed on http://newdelhi.thaiembassy.org/en/visa-on-arrival-en/
-How to reach hostel from Airport: The shuttle tickets will be sent across to you individually on whatsapp & email as soon you land & switch on your phone in Phuket. You always have I Trip Scout in case you face any issues further.
DAY 2: PHUKET’IN
Wake up lazy #BecauseHoliday grab a bite as we head out to the vibrant beaches. At the beach, you can soak up some sun sipping on a fresh coconut and the enthu-clan can game-up for some water sport activities. If you are feeling it, grab a chilled glass of Mojito to make everything better 😉. The evening is open to interpretation you may shop at the many night markets, party till you drop at the party street or simply read a book at the beach while the sight and sound of the waves make everything better.

*Experience: Our cool-down room, see-through swimming pool, shower room, and get a cup of coffee roasted locally in Phuket by Coffee Lab. 24 hours self-service laundry facilities, & dedicated games area.
Recommendation:
Use the first day to simply absorb the culture and get to know each other. The bangla street and the beach are right next to the hostel. Take time to absorb the city culture and get rid of the jet lag. The hostel has a small travel desk which can be used to book the cheapest island hopping trip. You may want to collectively book the experiences for tomorrow & island hop all day long.
I Trip Scout will be happy to give you out suggestion for the trip.
Day 3: ISLAND EXPLORATION
Rise n shine and live your island dream today #Goals. Take a ride on a traditional wooden longtail boat to surreal stunning limestone islands with astonishingly clear emerald waters, shimmering sands and dreamy waves. Grab #Insta perfect stories of the islands and your sea-side brunch. Go on for beach strolls, read a book by the beach or simply chill at a shack. By evening you reach back and dive into your comfy beds for a power nap, take the night easy today cherishing stories over dinner with your new travel buddies.
Recommendations:
You can book the tickets for the Island Hopping from the hostel travel desk. The cost of island hopping in case booked with other groups won’t be too high. Depending upon the season it is around THB 600-800. Do mistakenly take Phi Phi island hopping as you are anyways going there day after 😉
The hostel will organise you a pick and drop too so it’s more hassle free like that. In case you want to go out hit the streets on your own or simply chill by the pool at the hostel feel free to do so, I Trip Scot will be happy to offer suggestion throughout the day.
We recommend you to save Scuba diving for Krabi Islands in case you are up for it. 🙂
Day 4: PARTY DAY
Early risers can walk along the beach for the perfect sunrise and those who can’t move out of their comfy beds can join us straight for brunch. Take over the first part of the day doing what you want but make sure you are all groovy and energetic for the long night ahead . After dinner (and probably a Thai ice-Cream) put on your party shoes as we hop across some of the best nightlife clubs in Asia including big names like Illuzion or any other and call it a night when you want !
Recommendations:
TRANSPORT: Rent a scooty to save money and drive around the city. They are most cheapest way to ride around the city. A 125 cc scooty will cost you around THB 300 in case you can bargain good. In case you are renting it from the hostel dont bargain as they’ll have a standard price.
Local markets are often a good place to find some great bargains and some weird-and-wonderful souvenirs and keepsakes. However, why waste a perfectly good beach day? Wandering around a busy marketplace under the scorching sun – you’ll be swimming in sweat in seconds! That’s where night markets have the advantage.
- Chillva Market
Chillva Market Phuket is a cool, trendy night market with a somewhat bohemian vibe and an impressive selection of food, fashion and other stalls, despite a relatively small size.
Opening Hours:
Container shops only: daily 16:00 – 22:00 Full market: Thu – Sat 16:00 – 23:00 Address: 141/2 Yaowarat Road, Phuket Town
Google Map Location: https://goo.gl/maps/VKYi7qEqQMF2
- Phuket Weekend Market
When it comes to shopping, size matters. Phuket Weekend Market is the largest of the night markets on the island, with it being easier for us to list what you can’t find for sale at a knock-down price here than what you can. Finding something original and unique takes a little more perseverance, but there is enough to choose from that you will certainly find the ideal souvenir eventually.
Opening Hours: Sat – Sun 16:00 – 21:00
Location: Chao Fa West Road, Phuket Town
Google Map Location: https://goo.gl/maps/JiLEH2KKuDE2
- Phuket Walking Street
Set in a picturesque part of Phuket Old Town, Walking Street is as much a cultural attraction as is a great night market. The old Sino-Portuguese houses, which line the 350m road, get lit up in vibrant colours while the space between them becomes a cornucopia of traditional local foods, Thai handicrafts and, of course, t-shirts, dresses, shoes and other apparel.
Opening Hours: Sun 16:00 – 22:00
Location: Thalang Road, Phuket Town
Google Map Location: https://goo.gl/maps/4rse4Tq8YjD2
- Phuket Indy Market
As its name suggests, the Indy Market is home to independent traders rather than professional peddlers and, being locally known as “a market to let go of your goods”, is the closest thing Phuket has to a ‘bring-and-buy’ sale.
Opening Hours: Thu – Fri 16:00 – 22:00 Location: Limelight Avenue, Dibuk Road, Phuket Town
Google Map Location: https://goo.gl/maps/4rse4Tq8YjD2
- Malin Plaza Patong
Malin Plaza is particularly popular for its food stands, of which there are a great many. The tastes are great and the prices are low, making it a popular dining spot for budget travellers in Patong. So many cookers so close together makes this area quite warm, but good ventilation in the covered area keeps you cool while you check out the wares.
Opening Hours: 14:00 – 24:00
Location: Prachanukhro Road, Patong
Google Map Location: https://goo.gl/maps/Ttt1tduT5Z82

Hungover ? but you must wake up and hop on your ride to the harbor from where you sail on a ferry to the gorgeous Phi Phi. These islands are the crown-jewel of the Thai coastline, between the large island of Phuket and the west Strait of Malacca. Walk across to Maya Bay (the same beach on every picture of Thailand), while your eyes are fixed on the dreamy view pinch yourself to realize that you are actually here. In a few hours, reach Krabi and become a spectator to yet another stunning sunset at the long Krabi coastline. After dinner dive into beds and retire for the day.
Recommendations:
You will be arriving at PP around 10:30 am. It’s a small island but is considered to be the best romantic tropical getaway. You will be here for a couple of hours so make the most of it. Regalress its size its very much modernised. It has no roads but footpaths, however every small little corner is on GPS so make full use of it.
Phi Phi Island has beautiful by the beach restaurants and place is dominated by art, cooking classes and traditional bamboo tattoo. In case you are planning to sit by the beach and hog on great seafood. Do try the monster ice cream stall that are available after every 500 mts. They are the best. Hand Rolled Ice Cream and are made chop chop on a condensing pan. Must Try
Else in case you are also looking for vegetarian options you may settle down for the restaurant name “Papaya Restaurant”
Google Map: https://goo.gl/maps/qYoJkRK3Zcq
What to Eat: Thai Pineapple Rice & Authentic Pad Thai Noodles. Its local and its awesome. Vegetarian will have few options in Papaya Restaurant.
We don’t really recommend shopping here as it’s much expensive than Phuket or Krabi and you mostly get the same stuff.
In case you are up for a little adventure we recommend to head for view is lovely. 30bt on entry pays for clean up of area.
The last ferry from Phi Phi to Krabi is around 3-0330 pm. But you have to be at the pier by 2:30 ish. You will reach Krabi by the evening. We shall keep you posted 24 hrs prior on the pick up from Pier to the Hostel.
SHOUT OUT AGAIN: Do not forget to ask for the white sticker saying Aonang to stick on your shirt once boarding for Phi Phi. Once you reach the Krabi Pier this sticker will get you to the shared transport via which you reach the hostel. Simply tell them the address of the hostel. No sticker No transport.
You are staying at the most coolest hostel with the most coolest location in Krabi. Its located just 800mts from the Ao Nang beach. Check in to the hostel, have a shower and head out to the streets.
Scooty rentals are available at the hostel. You may rent the scooter and head to the beach. That’s one of the main areas to eat and you have all options available. It’s been a long day. Take some rest and chill.
Day 6: ISLAND HOPPIN’
It’s a new day and a new city ! Wake up to another day of Island madness. After grabbing breakfast, take another traditional long tail boat and head out island hopping across Koh Gai, Koh Tup, Koh Mawr Islands around the Karabi coastline. As you snorkel, get mesmerized by the underwater world while witnessing a picturesque sunset at Ao Nang Beach. If you have reserves of energy, turn your party mode on and sweat it out at the Nopparat Thara Beach or simply crash into your beds.
Recommendation: Krabi has multiple options. In case you haven’t got enough of Islands, head out for another island hopping experience in Krabi.
Klong Thom Hot Springs
Klong Thom Hot Springs are located in the jungle near the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve. Ancient volcanic chambers are the origin of these thermal springs.

Wat Tham Sua (Tiger Cave)
Located near Krabi Town, Wat Tham Sua or ‘Tiger Cave’ is one of the most famous caves in the area. Part of a temple complex where monks live and worship within a maze of natural caves surrounded by lush jungle.
