You will be given the tickets for your Volvo bus from Delhi to Manali. You have to reach the bus stop, where a coordinator from our team will help getting your seats. Over Night Journey from Delhi to Manali by Volvo (Tickets provided by GCT). All of your group members will be on the same bus, so the long 10-12 hour journey will not let you feel alone there.
Arrival Manali. We will give you the address of our Manali hotel. You have to reach that destination where our GCT team will be waiting for you all. Upon arrival, welcome followed by introduction with the Tour leader, followed by allotment of rooms. Followed by a safety & rescue session by our professionals. Evening welcomes you to follow by a tour briefing and group discussion followed by dinner.
Tips: This day you need complete rest for acclimatization as from the next day you will be going on an adventure like never before for the next 9 days.

Maximum Altitude of this day – Rohtang-la altitude 13051 ft. from the sea level
Tips: – This is the first day of your ride so always try to drive along with the group in the queue. This day you might ride in the dirt and sleepy roads when you descent to Chandra valley from Rohtang pass, so be careful while riding and always follow given instruction by Tour leader.
Note: You can’t stop more than 10 minutes on Rohtang-la Top. As it affects the group timing and also it may cause your health issues for staying long on a high altitude, Altitude of start and end point of your ride:-

Maximum Altitude of this day – Baralacha-La Altitude 16043 ft from the sea level
Tips – This day you are going to climb Baralacha-La high mountain pass so make sure you should not stop at Baralacha-La more than 5 min or as per instruction is given by group leader this day. Also, you have to cross some major water streaming on Patseo and Zingzing bar before climbing Baralacha-La so you should check properly things to carry list it will help you in your shopping for bike trip expedition.
Today you will be entering into Ladakh region( J&K) high altitude plateau, so get ready for the altitude. Today would be one of the longest and toughest days of the trip, carry water, put sun cream and cover your face.
Night stay in Tsokar/Pang, it will be the most difficult night of your journey you might have to sleep at subzero temperature. As you will be going at 14000 ft. and above first time in your journey so it can cause you to suffer from the AMS (Altitude Mountain Sickness)
You should drink at least 4 to 5 litter water every day it will help you to reduce the chances of AMS.
Please avoid eating oily food in lunch, it may cause you digestion problem at this altitude.
You may need your gumboots very much this day, as there is major water crossing this day.

This Day every Person need to follow very carefully the guidelines given by our group Leaders as it is testing time for your riding skills and teamwork today. Today you are going to ride almost 80% offroad.
If you feel any health problem i.e. headache or vomiting so ask your support team to check your oxygen, they will be giving you every possible medical support you need.
Please make sure that you need to start your journey early morning this day so that you can reach your destination on time. There is a ride of almost 11 hrs. Today.
While approaching Hanle you have to be alert as the road has lots of surprises as curves and Jumps.
